Job summary

K&W Electric, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to oversee a growing low voltage division at our Emmetsburg location. You will manage projects, build client and team relationships, and ensure safety and quality in installation and testing of technology systems.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of structured wiring, cabling, and NICET/BICSI knowledge, with experience in project leadership and a valid driver's license. Commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and strong knowledge of structured wiring and related technology.
• Experience in low voltage or structured cabling with ability to read wiring diagrams.
• BICSI RCDD preferred or willing to obtain; valid driver’s license; two-year electrical program completed; HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a growing low voltage division and manage projects at Emmetsburg location.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, employees, and trades.
• Ensure safe operations in line with company policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and equipment drawings; coordinate installations.
• Lead personnel in the installation of low voltage cabling systems and testing.

We are currently hiring a Project Manager to oversee an expanding low voltage division within our company. This position is held at our Emmetsburg location. We are looking for candidates who are innovative, self-motivated, with exceptional decision-making skills.

In this role, candidates must be able to build and maintain relationships with customers, employees, and other trades. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of installing, terminating and testing technology systems, fiber optic placing and splicing. Those with NICET or BICSI knowledge are encouraged to apply. Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills

• Previous experience in low voltage or structured cabling
• Strong knowledge of installing, terminating, and testing technology systems, fiber optic placing and splicing
• The ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and equipment drawings
• Knowledge of networking principles

• Ability to manage personnel in the installation of low voltage cabling systems
• Ability to work independently, and on multiple projects simultaneously
• BICSI RCDD Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
• A valid Driver’s License with ability to meet company driving standards
• Two-year completion of an electrical program
• High School Diploma/Equivalency
• Successfully passing drug and background screenings

Salary is negotiable, based on qualifications: electrical knowledge and previous experience.
