Job summary

VLink, Inc. is seeking a Strong Project Manager with Life Insurance and Annuities expertise for a large-scale implementation in New York City. This onsite contract role focuses on guiding client discussions, aligning business and technical teams, and delivering end-to-end PM ownership.

The successful candidate will manage milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalations while communicating effectively with C-level clients and stakeholders. This is a contract position lasting 6 to 12 months.

Strong Project Manager with experience in the Life Insurance and Annuities large scale implementation

Excellent communication and articulation: This is critical. Candidates must be able to clearly explain their thoughts, communicate confidently with clients, and lead discussions with senior stakeholders, C level executives.

Strong project management ownership: Ability to manage key milestones, workstreams, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and escalations.

Life & Annuities implementation experience: Candidates should have experience supporting large scale technology implementations in the Life Insurance and Annuities domain.

Business and technology understanding: The PM does not need to be a technical expert but must understand technical discussions around integrations, APIs, and business requirements well enough to connect the dots and drive resolution.

Client and stakeholder management: Must be comfortable managing client expectations, coordinating business and technical teams, and independently driving project discussions.

Assertiveness and problem-solving: We need someone who can proactively identify issues, challenge when necessary, and keep the project moving rather than simply tracking and reporting status. Must have the ability to independently drive technology implementations
