Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) in Texas is seeking a Project Manager Level II to oversee moderately complex projects, ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and serve as the primary contact for clients to drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in project management or coordination.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of NEC standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with project estimating and quoting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mid-sized projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer communication during project execution.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee key project tasks and assign responsibilities to team members.
  • Generate detailed reports on project status and metrics for stakeholders.

As a Project Manager Level II, you will oversee moderately complex projects, ensuring quality, safety, and budgetary compliance. Project Leadership
  • Manage mid-sized projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer communication during project execution.
Project Coordination
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets.
  • Perform estimating tasks and input information into the quoting system.
  • Oversee key project tasks and assign responsibilities to team members.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Generate detailed reports on project status and metrics for stakeholders.
  • Maintain project schedules, risk logs, and all other required documentation.
Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct audits and address issues as needed.
  • Integrate sustainable practices into project planning and execution.
Risk Management
  • Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with customers, contractors, and engineers to resolve challenges.
  • Foster teamwork and maintain alignment on project goals.
Additional Duties
  • Flexibility to perform other assigned tasks to support the overall business objectives, while proactively seeking opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications And Competencies
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management or coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of NEC standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance.
  • Experience in project estimating and familiarity with quoting and takeoff processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working on projects that involve cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent are a plus.
