Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Project Manager – Level 2 for 100% onsite work. The role requires SCI access and a flexible 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI access.
• Experience with SAP, MRP and Tableau.
• Experience with scheduling and working with little supervision.

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Project Manager – Level 2 to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI access
• Experience with SAP and MRP.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Must have experience and be comfortable working with little supervision.
• Experience with scheduling

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
