Project Manager - Large Projects
Your Main Responsibilities
This role is responsible for leading large projects from early sales involvement through award, engineering, procurement, and installation readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in sales efforts for Major Projects as needed.
- Lead large projects through financial award and transition them into engineering.
- Manage the engagement and transition of large projects from engineering into supply chain.
- Partner closely with Project Managers throughout the engineering and procurement phases, with a focus on identifying and addressing areas of concern.
- Document process gaps and develop, publish, and enforce best practices based on experience and lessons learned.
- Maintain and manage the national major project installation resource schedule.
- Oversee and manage major project assets, including installation tools and project-specific equipment.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in:
- Quotation management, Cadre, and major project costing.
- Resource planning and coordination across large, complex projects.
- Supporting sales efforts for Major Projects as needed.
- Leading project transitions from award through engineering, supply chain, and installation readiness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree a plus.
- 5+ years of experience supporting major projects within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems and application engineering.
- Experience working cross‑functionally across both direct and indirect reporting structures.
- Proven experience in construction project cost forecasting and major project costing.
- Strong project management and capacity planning skills.
- Experience managing and improving internal processes.
- High level of business acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills required), MS Project, and SAP.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels and disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, cooperative, team‑oriented relationships with coworkers, managers, clients, and partners.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically.
Base Salary
$113,400 - $141,700
