Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a motivated Project Manager Intern to gain hands-on experience in construction project management. You will work with experienced managers to support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control across active projects.

This internship offers mentorship, exposure to client and design team interactions, and the chance to contribute from concept through completion while learning safety standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a program in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of project management concepts (scheduling, budgeting) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and quality control tasks across active construction projects.
• Help develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
• Work with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to support project success.
• Assist in monitoring project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Help identify and track project risks, and support mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with project teams and crew members to keep tasks moving effectively and efficiently.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a technical school, college, or university program in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

• Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and work well as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of project management concepts (scheduling, budgeting) is a plus but not required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
