Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an IT Enterprise Project Manager to partner with the customer’s IT leadership and provide day-to-day support for Collateral, SCI and SAP activities.

You will coordinate maintenance, oversee data centers and networks, and lead daily stand-ups while driving continuous improvement in IT operations and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years related experience in IT program management.
• 7+ years IT Project Management experience.
• 2+ years SAP experience required.
• Experience managing dispersed teams across operations, administration and security.
• Support management of enterprise systems including security, capacity, performance, availability and facility support elements.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, de-conflict, and coordinate routine maintenance and project efforts to minimize downtime.
• Oversee all assured information systems under the customer’s cognizance.
• Plan and oversee data centers, networks, telecommunications, servers, systems, services and apps.
• Maintain health status of resources and projects through effective resource and task management.
• Lead daily ops stand-ups with contractor IT workforce and report to customer leadership.
• Contribute to IT continuous improvement with recommendations for process and technology improvements.

The IT Enterprise Project Manager's position will work closely with the customer's IT leadership representatives and the contractor IT workforce to provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Performance shall include:

• Primary duties include scheduling, de- conflicting, and coordinating routine maintenance activities along with task/project efforts, and emergency changes in order to minimize production systems and service downtime
• Responsible for the full range of matters pertaining to all assured information systems under the customer's cognizance
• Directly supports the government lead and provides day-to-day planning and oversight for the customer's data centers, networks, telecommunications infrastructure, servers, systems, services, and applications.
• Maintains an overall health and status awareness of all assigned resources and projects through effective and flexible resource and task management
• Conduct daily operations stand-up meetings with the applicable contractor IT workforce to review operational status and planned work for the day; provide applicable updates to customer leadership as required.
• Supports the continuous improvement program for IT and develops recommendations for idea, process, and technology improvement to overall IT management

Experience:

• 10+ years related experience
• 7+ years IT Project Management experience
• 2+ years SAP experiencerequired
• Demonstrated experience managing dispered teams with the responsibility for project exectuion comprising at a minimum information systems operations, administration, and security
• Demonstrated support management of enterprise systems to include security, capacity, perfromance, availability, and facility support elements (i.e., power/cooling)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years)

Certification Requirements:

• IAT Level II - within 6 month of hire (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
• Program Management Professional (PMP) within 6 months of hire or posess a DAWIA PM Level III certificate.
• Highly preferred: GSLC, CISSP, or CISM.

Clearance Required to Start:

• TS/SCI required
• Must be able to Attain – TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Travel Requirements:

• 10-25% travel

Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of Defense Procurement and Acquisition processes highly desired
• Operational Air Force experience desired
• Strongly desire to be formally trained and/or certified in the following ITIL modules: Service Operation, Operational Support and Analysis, and/or Continual Service Improvement
