Location: Portland, Oregon (per diem for temporary relocation offered)

Position Overview

The Project Manager is a critical role responsible for managing the entirety of construction projects from planning to completion. This role requires a highly skilled individual with deep industry knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple project components. The Project Manager ensures that all project goals are met, including safety, quality, and team performance. Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and team performance. • Lead teams, present to stakeholders, and drive proactive problem solving. • Coordinate with general contractors/owners to ensure clear communication and successful partnerships. • Oversee project sequencing, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget controls. • Monitor project progress, production analysis, and implement necessary changes. • Conduct detailed cost reporting, financial management, and approve invoices, material/equipment procurement, and expenditures. • Manage change order processes, including issuance, tracking, and cost management. • Resolve project hurdles and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university and 4 years of experience, or 8 years of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, CMIC, or similar project management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and present to stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
