CareOregon, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead large-scale, complex projects, often technology-focused, across enterprise initiatives.

You will plan, coordinate, and drive collaboration among stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes expert project management, change management, and reporting, enabling successful implementation within time and budget constraints.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years related experience with independent leadership of medium and large-scale projects.
  • Experience leading information systems projects, including at a complex level.
  • Preferred PMI Project Management certification.
  • 3+ years in health plan operations or health insurance related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans outlining components, milestones, priorities, resources and communication plans.
  • Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings to build consensus and collaboration.
  • Lead stakeholders and project teams; monitor and report status to sponsors and business owners.

Project Manager III - Temporary role-This position is responsible for leading large scale, complex projects or programs utilizing project management and LEAN principles and techniques. Work comprises all stages of the project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, management, and implementation. Projects frequently have a technology focus. Under minimal supervision, this position acts as a liaison between internal and external partners, contractors and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration, consensus building and help ensure accountability, as well as maintain technical project reports, records and documentation. This is an expert level project management position and typically leads projects in support of highly integrated, enterprise-wide initiatives or programs comprised of multiple interrelated projects.
