Job summary

Point32Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major departmental projects with cross-functional interfaces and significant complexity, risk, and cost. The role requires leading teams, managing scope, budget, and timeline across multiple initiatives.

The position emphasizes mentorship, structured project management practices, and collaboration with senior management. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with PMP preferred and 8–10 years in business, including 5–8 in PM roles.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of business experience, including 5-8 years in project management leading cross-functional projects.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of PMBOK concepts.
  • Ability to navigate political issues within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the project to ensure goals and objectives are met within the established time and budget guidelines.
  • Lead cross-functional team members on projects of significant complexity.
  • Identify conflict/integration issues and guide resolution with cost/benefit analysis and resource estimation.
  • Estimate and plan resource usage.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced project managers.
  • Review status and adjust schedule as needed.
  • Oversee meetings and prepare status documents.
  • Instruct and coach team in Project Management techniques.
  • Facilitate planning sessions.
  • Resolve roadblocks to project progress.
  • Influence owners, sponsors, steering committees and senior management.
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Summary

Under limited direction, is responsible for managing major departmental projects, which have significant cross-functional interface and will include Corporate Agenda projects. These projects will be of significant complexity, risk and/or cost.

Job Description
  • Manage all phases of the project to ensure goals and objectives are met within the established time and budget guidelines.
  • Lead cross-functional team members on projects of significant complexity.
  • Proactively identify conflict/integration issues and lead team members to parse and synthesize issues of highest complexity, including cost/benefit analysis and resource estimating.
  • Accurately estimate and plan resource usage.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced project managers.
  • Regularly review status of project and modify schedule as necessary.
  • Oversee and facilitate project team meetings and prepares status documents periodically throughout the project.
  • Instruct and coach team members in Project Management techniques.
  • Facilitate planning sessions.
  • Effectively resolve roadblocks to project progress.
  • Influence the owner, sponsor, steering committee and other appropriate senior management.
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Advanced degree in business or related field preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of business experience required, which includes 5-8 years in project management leading cross-functional projects. PMP certification preferred. Requires thorough knowledge of PMBOK concepts. Requires the ability to use advanced knowledge of company to navigate political issues.
Skill Requirements
  • Requires the ability to prioritize and manage competing issues and to effectively lead in a matrix environment. Requires highest level of competency with applying project management techniques, tools and methods, including stakeholder and vendor management, risk assessment, communication planning, resource estimating and the use of relevant products and tools (i.e. MSProject and MSOffice suite of products). Requires the ability to identify risk out of the larger picture and to make decisions that serve the best interests of the Company.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Requires the highest level of presentation skills as well as highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Requires ability to effectively present to and communicate with senior management staff.
Working Conditions and Additional Requirements

Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.

Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.

May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.

Salary Range

$98,876.14 – $148,314.20

Compensation & Total Rewards Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position represents a range of salaries for this role and similar roles across the organization. The actual salary for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope and complexity of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; as well as internal equity. As part of our comprehensive total rewards program, colleagues are also eligible for variable pay. Eligibility for any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits remains in the Company's sole discretion and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
