Job summary

Summary

Redwire Space is seeking a Project Manager II (Space Hardware) based in Marlborough, MA to support several programs. This role leads program execution, managing budget, schedule, statements of work, technical specifications, and contract deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage program financial budget and resource needs throughout the program period of performance
• Act as primary customer interface
• Create and manage daily/weekly/monthly milestones
• Assist Program Management Office in developing and improving program management systems
• Drive business development/program growth and maintain positive margins
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and leaders to enable successful execution of state‑of‑the‑art projects from beginning to end

Ideal Experience

• Bachelor's degree (preference for technical or engineering related degree) or equivalent
• 5 or more years of experience in project or program management
• Experience working with aerospace engineering/space engineering/manufacturing and software efforts or other relevant engineering work in the industry
• Experience working with customers on delivery of product throughout production lifecycle
• Must be willing to travel as required
• US Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR regulations

Desired Skills

• Certification received through PMI or other similar organization focused on recognition of expertise in Project Management (CAPM, DASM, CSM, etc.)
• Experience working in/with matrixed teams, remote teams, and distributed teams
• Proficient with Microsoft software suite, including Project and SharePoint
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to performance schedule and determine areas requiring upper‑management attention
• Familiarity with ERP operating systems (Deltek)
• Proven track record of leading a project team and effectively managing competing priorities

Salary

Salary Range: $102,000–140,000.
