The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. seeks a Project Manager II to support the Murtha Cancer Center Research Program in Bethesda, MD.

The role focuses on scientific coordination, quality management, and timely delivery of Vanguard and MCCRP projects across DoD facilities. Responsibilities include coordinating with investigators, CRCs, and statisticians, developing SOPs, staying regulatory-ready, and preparing monthly reports for MCCRP leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience required.
• Experience as a PM for federally funded research programs.
• Knowledge of clinical research trials.
• Ability to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the study activation process to ensure startup is not delayed and monitor progress to meet enrollment goals and deliverables.
• Coordinate with investigators, trial specialists, project managers, data specialists and statisticians from multiple institutions.
• Develop workflows, SOPs, research protocols and regulatory submissions to IRBs at MTF level and National Cancer Institute Central IRB.
• Supervise CRCs located at multiple MTFs.
• Coordinate training for study staff and regulatory readiness; maintain training logs.
• Attend cross-functional meetings with MCCRP and study sponsor.
• Prepare statements of work, progress reports, metrics, and milestones.
• Advise Principal Investigator and MCCRP leadership on site needs and contributions to Vanguard and other protocols.
• Assist with grant proposals, letters of intent, manuscripts and abstracts.
• Manage complex project logistics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
