Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II to lead a systems team on large-scale integrated projects. You will oversee low-voltage and specialty systems, coordinating multiple trades, vendors, and client expectations in design-build environments.

The role emphasizes budgeting, scheduling, change management, and cost control, with potential for leadership of Project Assistants and PM I. Travel up to 25% and site/office work are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of experience managing complex systems construction projects.
• Experience with estimating using Accubid or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of AV, ACS, network LAN/WAN, structured cabling, fiber optics and data center operations.

This role oversees all low-voltage and integrated specialty systems, ensuring the successful planning, design, coordination, and execution of highly technical installations in complex design-and-build environments.The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems integration, low-voltage infrastructure, and technology standards, with proven ability to manage multiple trades, vendors, and client expectations.**WHAT YOU’LL DO:**· May train and provide direction to the Project Assistant and/or the Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.· Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager.· Participates in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I.· Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies.· Negotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.· Liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities· Under the direction of Project Manager III and/or Sr. Project Manager, support construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget.· Anticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.· Represent the company in project meetings.· Direct the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion.· Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.· Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest, and maintain a good relationship with the client.· May assist with the development of new business opportunities.· The duties and responsibilities describe this position's general nature and scope of work. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending.
