Job summary

Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II to lead planning, coordination and execution of water/wastewater projects. You will develop detailed project plans, manage budgets and resources, and foster strong client relationships.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in the water/wastewater sector, solid knowledge of I&C systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical. A collaborative, detail-oriented professional will thrive in this hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in water/wastewater industries.
• Strong understanding of I&C systems and control technologies used in water/wastewater facilities.
• Reading and understanding engineering and construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution of projects.
• Develop detailed project plans including schedules, budgets and resources.
• Cultivate positive client and team relationships.
• Manage client communications and address concerns.
• Oversee project performance to meet scope, schedule and quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, contractors and vendors.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present status reports to leads, management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Create scope of work and prepare pricing for proposals and change orders.
• Review control panel calculations, drawings, I/O lists, submittals and O&M manuals; provide feedback to I&C designers.
• Review PLC wiring diagrams including motor control circuits.
• Provide on-site support to technicians and programmers.

Project Manager II

Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. is a Professional Engineering Firm and Systems Integrator with 25+ years of experience in Design and Design-Build services for Water, Wastewater, and private industries. We have five offices located in Southeast Pennsylvania, Northeast Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Lewes Delaware, and Seaford Delaware.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in project management in water / wastewater industry
• Strong understanding of I&C systems and control technologies used in water / wastewater treatment facilities
• Advanced understanding of instrumentation and controls in water / wastewater
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, approachability in demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities, including managing challenging or complex interactions
• Comfortable reading and understanding engineering and construction drawings, and standard specifications
• Knowledge in using AutoCAD electrical and libraries
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and show close attention to detail
• Ability to work with strict and competing deadlines on an ongoing basis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Our Project Managers travel locally to client sites and occasionally have overnight travel trips for projects.
