Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of directing work in project management; 4 years preferred.
• Strong planning, resource allocation and production methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to analyze workflow.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with project development from start to finish.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables with senior management.
• Develop full-scale project plans and communications documents.
• Communicate project updates to manager.
• Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve goals.
• Align activities with safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective action.
• Draft and submit budget proposals and changes.
• Negotiate with department managers for personnel.
• Staffing adjustments during project cycle.
• Set and manage project expectations with team.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project team.
• Identify and manage dependencies and critical path.
• Plan schedules and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop progress reports, proposals, requirements docs, presentations.
• Manage changes in project scope and contingency plans.
