HNTB Corporation in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Project Manager to lead a team through the full lifecycle of major infrastructure projects, including MnDOT and Metro Transit opportunities. You will develop project scope, prepare technical proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery on time and on budget.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience, plus 2 years in task management or Deputy PM.

We are looking for a Project Manager that is responsible for the leadership and management of a team in support of the project’s profitable operation. The candidate will have an opportunity to work on projects for clients all over the United States, as well as, help bring in work opportunities with MnDOT, Metro Transit and other MN clients. Our office does workshare with other offices, where the ideal candidate would be willing to work alongside other offices firmwide on infrastructure projects for their clients. We offer a flexible work schedule and the position will be located in our Minneapolis office. The ideal candidate will bring a high work ethic, be success orientated, trustworthy, energetic and have a high technical expertise. This candidate will pursue, manage and track MnDOT projects for one or more strategic (<$1M) projects or may lead and/or work as a discipline lead on a mini-mega ($1M to <$5M) project management team. This opportunity entails being responsible for managing assigned project(s) throughout their full lifecycle including developing the scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents to participating in contract negotiations and overseeing the delivery of the project plan to successfully accomplish HNTB’s 4 for 4 performance: delivery of quality work, on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction on every project. This position proactively manages the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications in support of the project’s objectives. Provides high level technical tasks while managing and reviewing design related specifications, calculations, reports and plans. Coordinates with internal and external partners including cross-discipline and functional teams to address and problem solve design related issues or concerns.

The approximate pay range for Minnesota is $133,298.38 - $208,492.35. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
The approximate nation wide pay range for this position is $126,950.84 - $248,205.18. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
