  • Support business development and ensure quality deliverables for water resources projects.

Project Manager – Hydrology and Hydraulics

Kansas City, Missouri (Other locations include North Little Rock, AR; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; South Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Birmingham, AL; Huntsville, AL; Overland Park, KS.)

Garver seeks a Project Manager – Hydrology and Hydraulics to join our growing Transportation Team in multiple locations. This role collaborates with clients and design engineers on engineering projects for federal and state agencies, municipalities, and other jurisdictions.

Primary Responsibilities

Work with an established team to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for municipal and DOT clients across Garver's footprint. Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary design engineers; manage project scheduling, sub‑consultant coordination, plan production oversight, cost estimation, and client interaction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related discipline from an ABET‑accredited program with emphasis in water resources engineering.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant consulting and design experience.
  • Minimum of two years of engineering project management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design.
  • Advanced experience with HEC software such as HEC‑HMS and HEC‑RAS.
  • Preferred experience with two‑dimensional hydraulic modeling.
  • Experience with GIS software and its application to H&H modeling, analysis, and design.
  • Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, GEOPAK, OpenRoads, and/or other design software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on hydrology and hydraulics projects.
