VHB’s New Hampshire Transportation team is seeking a Project Manager - Highway/Roadway Design to lead the design and delivery of complex NH transportation projects, coordinating with NHDOT, municipalities, and regional agencies.
You’ll oversee project teams, develop roadway geometry, drainage, and traffic plans, manage scope and budgets, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with NH and federal standards to advance safe, sustainable infrastructure.

As a Project Manager - Highway/Roadway Design, you’ll play a key role in managing, designing, and delivering a wide variety of transportation projects across New Hampshire. You’ll manage project teams, contribute to roadway and highway design, drainage and stormwater systems, traffic management plans, cost estimates, and right-of-way and layout plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and planners.
Our projects support clients including NHDOT, municipalities, regional planning commissions, and other New England transportation agencies, helping bring to life the infrastructure that connects the places where people live, work, and recreate.
