Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Construction Project Manager who will lead small to medium energy construction projects. The role is onsite in Juno Beach, FL with ~15% travel within Florida to job sites, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to drawings and specs.

You will review budgets, subcontracts, and施工 documents; prepare status and risk reports; and coordinate with cost advisory and contract teams to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Primavera Unifier is beneficial.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and verify alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Review documentation including direct cost payments, budget status, and subcontracts.
• Prepare Project Status and Construction Risk Assessment reports and seek approval for fund releases.
• Evaluate the Developer’s cost budget; coordinate with Cost Advisory for estimates and take-offs.
• Comment on terms of construction agreements and ensure qualifications of contractor and architect are up to date.
• Oversee construction and disbursement schedules including permits and surveys.
• Apply standard principles to deliver complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge within the function and related teams.

Job Description

The Construction Project Manager managers small to medium construction projects for our energy client with direct accountability for project delivery. Projects consist of front end development and ground up construction.

This job is part of the Construction Management function responsible for ensuring all deliverables of construction projects are completed on time.

*Role will be onsite in Juno Beach, FL with ~15% of travel through FL to job sites.*

What you’ll do

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the progress of construction. Review the status of work completed during the period covered and confirm work is aligned with the approved drawings and specifications.
• Review all documentation including contractors’ direct cost payment requisitions, budget status, and subcontracts.
• Prepare Project Status and Construction Risk Assessment report. Seek approval for the release of construction funds. Review contract drawings, specifications, and opine for completeness and general compliance with standard processes.
• Evaluate the Developer’s direct and indirect cost budget. Coordinate with the Cost Advisory group performing parameter estimates and spot quantity take-offs.
• Make relevant comments on the terms of construction agreements. This includes subcontracts, architectural, engineering design, and building loan agreements. Ensure the Contractor and Architect’s qualification statements are up to date.
• Oversee construction and disbursement schedules. This includes zoning approvals, certified surveys, and building permits.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job field and broad understanding of several job subject areas within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

Qualifications
