Job summary

GWE is seeking a Project Manager to lead industrial wastewater and water treatment EPC projects across multiple countries. You will drive planning, budgeting, risk management, and contractual compliance from award through commissioning and close-out.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, coordinating procurement, and serving as the main client liaison to ensure satisfaction and clear communication. Travel internationally is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience managing EPC projects in an industrial environment; water/wastewater treatment plant experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence decisions and manage conversations.

  • Facilitate effective collaboration between multicultural teams located across different countries and timezones.
  • Drive alignment among stakeholders with different priorities, ensuring decisions are communicated clearly and executed effectively.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, forecasts, risks, and mitigation plans to management and other stakeholders.
  • Report directly to management.

Je profiel
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects in an industrial environment. Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants is a strong advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and navigate challenging conversations both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, technical specialists, and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented, and comfortable making decisions in a dynamic project environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required. Additional languages are considered an asset.
