Securitas Technology, a world-leading provider of integrated security solutions, is seeking a Project Manager for the Global Clients team in the Canton, MS area. You will lead all phases of electronic security integration projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating with customers and various trades.

The role requires 2–5 years of PM experience in construction for security systems and a strong PM foundation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and PMP certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of proven construction project management experience, ideally in electronic security.
• Experience leading projects in Data Centers or large-scale facilities.
• Working knowledge of electronic security systems (access control, IP cameras, readers, etc.).
• Proficient in project management principles, tools, and methodologies; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction project management from planning to closeout.
• Develop key project documents: plans, scopes, schedules, charters, and SOWs.
• Coordinate with customers, stakeholders and other trades to ensure delivery.
• Manage risks, changes, budget, and quality; track progress and report metrics.
• Facilitate change requests and align with staffing and resources.
• Oversee project closeout and handoff to operations; ensure client satisfaction.

Title: Project Manager, Global Clients (PLEASE NOTE - THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE YOU TO LIVE IN THE CANTON, MS AREA)

Position Description

The Project Manager leads all phases of Electronic Security integration projects—from construction planning and initiation to execution, monitoring, and closure—and is accountable for their success. This role will be working with our Global Clients team, which will require a high level of service. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality, while coordinating with customers, stakeholders, and other trades. This role requires handling multiple construction projects simultaneously, each with unique timelines, requirements, and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction project management, from planning to closeout, using appropriate methodologies.
• Develop key project documents including plans, scopes, schedules, charters, and SOWs.
• Construction site walks
• Create sub-plans for communication, quality, resources, procurement, and deployment.
• Coordinating with other trades on construction sites
• Manage risks, issues, changes, reporting, communications, finances, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate and document change requests; adjust plans as needed.
• Align with resource managers regarding staffing and performance expectations.
• Ensure quality control standards are implemented and followed.
• Participate in trade alignment meetings
• Oversee project closeout and handoff to operations.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track and report on key metrics, including customer satisfaction.
• Lead project deliverables from definition through execution.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Support other teams as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree and PMP certification preferred
• 2–5 years of proven construction project management experience, ideally in electronic security
• Experience leading projects in Data Centers
• Working knowledge of electronic security systems such as access control, network switches, IP cameras, card readers, etc.
• Proficient in project management principles, tools, and methodologies
• Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
• Effective communicator with strong verbal, written, and documentation abilities
• Confident interacting with all management levels and leading teams
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration
• Proficient in scheduling tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Valid, unrestricted state driver’s license required
