Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced FVIA Project Manager to lead the development and deployment of Fixed Video products and services. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage purchase orders, and align with Sales and channel partners to drive revenue. The role requires 5+ years in project management, PMP certification, and strong budgeting skills, with travel up to 50%.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Management, Public Safety, or Technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Deployment, or Product Management, plus PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of Fixed Video products and services.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded Fixed Video offerings.
  • Create, manage, and receive purchase orders and maintain budget accuracy.
  • Collaborate with FVIA Sales/Pre-Sales to align milestones and capture revenue.
  • Track project performance with partners, sales teams, and RSMs/CSMs.
  • Forecast FVIA revenue/costs and update forecasts regularly.
  • Lead project reviews and status meetings; communicate project status.
  • Drive process improvements across Standalone and Ecosystem projects.
  • Support business plans and strategies to increase opportunities.
  • Ensure objectives are met within time and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Manage the development and implementation of Motorola Solutions Fixed Video products and services.
  • Coordinate with departmental and/or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing Fixed Video products or services.
  • Create, manage, and receive purchase orders.
  • Work with Fixed Video Sales and Pre-Sales Business Managers to incorporate MBE/milestones to capture service revenue.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance with Fixed Video Channel Partners, Fixed Video Sales, M&S RSMs and CSMs.
  • Ensure that FVIA revenue/costs goals are forecasted and updated regularly.
  • Participate in FVIA Pre/Post project review and status meetings, and communicate project status.
  • Look for ways to continuously improve FVIA process in Standalone and Ecosystem projects and drive efficiencies.
  • Assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to increase business opportunities.
  • Responsibile for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget.
  • Ensure that the three constraints (quality, cost and time) that face every project are properly managed.
  • Manage large programs or portions of very complex programs.
  • Experience in running project phases.
  • Mangement development of the entire project.
  • The ability to establish track, and audit project budgets, analyze variances and develop action plans as required.
  • The ability to represent the organization on projects and function in a leadership capacity.
  • Involved in the management of project staff including project reporting, administration and communication.
  • Responsible for project planning, setting deliverable dates, and tracking those deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a project plan to monitor and track all progress.
  • Manage and communicate changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project cost.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalation to management as needed.
  • Successfully manage all of the project resources.
  • Must be great at solving problems, and getting things done in a multi-organizational environment.
  • Participation in project reviews.
  • Strong knowledge of Motorola Solutions internal systems (CPQ, I-procurement, Kissflow, etc)
Preferred Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, account relationship, time management, organizational and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and changing priorities, as necessary.
  • Must be Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Visio, and the ability to work in other software systems as required.
  • The ability to travel as required for this position.
  • The ability to train team members on various software programs as required for this position.

Target Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
