Job summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a dedicated project manager to oversee complex projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and ensure safety standards are met in diverse environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of project management experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

• Responds to inquiries about projects.
• Chairs project review and pre-submittal meetings.
• Maintains liaison with boards, committees and commissions.
• Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, and policies.
• Performs project design for civil engineering projects.
• Coordinates schedules of staff and other stakeholders.

The individual in this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion. Candidates must be safety-orientated and comfortable working in diverse environments.

• Performs project design for civil engineering projects.
• Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and
• At least two years of previous experience in project management.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
