Job summary

Alphahire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead fast-track retail construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in Minnesota. You will own schedules and budgets, manage live environments, coordinate subs and vendors, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure on-time delivery.

Candidates should have proven PM experience in fast-track retail, strong scheduling and budgeting skills, excellent communication, and comfort with construction management software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in fast-track retail construction.
• Strong ability to manage compressed schedules and high-pressure timelines.
• Experience working in live/occupied retail environments preferred.
• Multi-site or national rollout experience is a strong plus.
• Background in preconstruction (budgeting, scheduling, scope development).
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead retail construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Own project schedules, budgets, and overall performance.
• Manage preconstruction efforts including budgeting, scheduling, scope review, and risk identification.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and timelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal teams.
• Support post-completion service and client follow-through.

Benefits

• Base Salary: $95,000 ? $130,000 (based on experience)

• Performance Bonus: 5% ? 15%
• Total Compensation Potential: Up to $145,000
