Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Facilities Services professional to provide supervisory guidance for Tool Hookup projects and oversee multiple contractor teams performing tool installs and electrical work at our Austin campus. You will produce project documentation, manage schedules, and communicate technical content across teams using MS Office.

This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4 year degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience preferred; Project Management of semiconductor facilities.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware/software; ability to read designs, shop drawings, and work in progress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical content.
• Aptitude for documentation and data analysis using MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provides supervisory guidance for Facilities Services and oversees tool hookup projects.
• Oversees multiple contract companies for tool installs, lateral/main installs, GCS hookup work, and electrical installations.
• Produces technical writing and project reports (background, daily/weekly, closeout).
• Develops documentation for future facilities planning, schedule forecasting, reporting, and infrastructure studies.

Role And Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Provides guidance to Facilities Services personnel and serves in a supervisory capacity in a team representative role for Projects in Tool Hookup.
• Assist Facilities Services Tool Hookup team to oversee multiple contract companies for tool installs, lateral/main installs, GCS tool hookup work, and electrical installations.
• Technical writing and reports including project background presentations, daily/weekly reports and project closeout reporting.
• Develops documentation for Facilities Services future scenario planning support including schedule forecasting, reporting, and infrastructure utility studies.

Skills And Qualifications

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• 2 or 4 year degree preferred
• 2 or more years of experience preferred; Project Management of semiconductor facility support.
• Has knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware, computer software; including applications and programming ability to read and understand design plans, shop drawings, and work in progress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills are required to communicate technical content to various organizations.
• Aptitude for documentation and data analysis using MS Office programs, including Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.

The current base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $151,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
