Job summary

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Project Manager, Facilities and Capital Projects to lead renovation and capital improvement efforts at its Washington, DC headquarters.

This on-site role requires coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with historic preservation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing commercial facilities or capital projects.
• Experience with historic buildings strongly preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• On-site work in Washington, DC required.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Project Manager, Facilities and Capital Projects manages renovation, restoration, and capital improvement projects at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Washington, D.C. Working closely with the Vice President of Operations and the Building Operations team, this role oversees projects in the Chamber's historic headquarters. Experience with historic buildings and commercial real estate is strongly preferred. This is primarily an on‑site role.

The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $155,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full‑time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
