Job summary

IES Electrical in Greenville, SC seeks a construction project supervisor to oversee total electrical construction efforts, ensuring design conformance, budget, and schedule. You will plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and support staff.

A valid Journeyman or Master electrical license is strongly preferred, with experience supervising craft workers. You will interpret drawings, recommend methods/equipment, and manage change orders and

Qualifications

• 4 years of project management/estimating experience in commercial electrical construction and service.
• Journeyman or Master electrical license strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising craft workers.
• Knowledge of electrical construction, NEC requirements, and related estimating and scheduling.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word) and estimating software; ACCUBID a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise total construction effort to meet design, budget and on-schedule targets.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, material control and support staff.
• Provide direction to craft workers and contractor/sub-contractor workers as required.
• Provide technical assistance: drawings interpretation, selecting methods and equipment.
• Complete estimating and documentation for extra work and issue change orders.
• Manage productivity and materials/equipment for optimal contractual performance.

Job Summary

• Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc.
• Complete estimating anddocumentation forextra workand ensure issuance of change orders.
• Manageproductivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials & equipment, and overall contractual performance of the project.

Qualifications

• A combination of 4 yearsproject management/estimating experience in commercial electrical constructionand service setting.
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Experiencesupervisingothers including craft workers.
• Knowledge ofelectrical constructionand service management methods including related technologies and equipment, contracts, jurisdiction NEC requirements, and related estimating, scheduling, and safety requirements.
• Proficient computer skillswith experience utilizing MS Office (EXCEL/WORD) and estimating software, ACCUBID experience a plus.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
