Job summary

Wayne Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Estimator to join our preconstruction group. The role can be located at our Davidson, NC Headquarters, Eagleville, TN office, or Walterboro, SC.

You will review project documents, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, and determine vendor and subcontractor needs to develop the overall bid strategy. Responsibilities include pricing revisions, coordinating with operations on bid sequences, and maintaining organized bid information.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of estimating or 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience with estimating & takeoff software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents to determine scope and bid strategy
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs
• Determine vendor and subcontractor needs
• Develop preliminary schedule and project sequence
• Review drawing revisions and project updates to assist Operations Team in pricing changes
• Notify Operations Team of changes in proposed bid sequence and schedule
• Manage estimate information in an organized and neat fashion
• Update and maintain preconstruction reporting
• Work as part of the Preconstruction Team to achieve company goals
