Primary Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day environmental projects, including developing scopes of work and cost estimates, ensuring project objectives, standards, policies, and procedures are met, and implementing projects within scope and budget. Serve as a technical resource, mentor staff, and focus on delivering high-quality services that meet and exceed client expectations.

Qualifications include 6-10 years of experience in:

• Site Investigations related to Illinois EPA programs
• Phase I/II ESAs
• Environmental monitoring and statistical analysis under RCRA regulations
• Risk-Based Corrective Action and remediation
• Regulatory communication
• Regulatory reporting and documentation
• UST closures

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Geological Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related; Master’s preferred
• LPG or EIT in Illinois; PE preferred
• Understanding of Illinois EPA’s SRP, LUST, TACO, and RCRA regulations
• Experience with proposal development, project scopes, budgets, schedules
• Strong communication, leadership, scheduling, and technical writing skills
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols

The selected candidate will manage environmental project tasks, delegate responsibilities, and support team and business development goals, working closely with senior staff in a team environment.
