Qualifications

  • 5+ years in the Broadcast Integration / Live industry.
  • Experience as Lead Broadcast Engineer in the field and studio.
  • Engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support permanent and semi-permanent system installations.
  • Act as liaison between design and field staff.
  • Test and repair copper and fiber cables.

Job Description
    Req#: Ogq.UhNZ.Ru9CxweFjn@e7ttrphV9sCl9xfTJUWW4Zo- We are seeking an Experienced Audio / Video / Project Engineer / Manager to support permanent and semi-permanent system installations for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience trouble shooting Audio and Video Broadcast equipment and the ability to solve unusual or unexpected problems. Have familiarity of TCP/IP/SNMP Network topologies, VLANS and Cisco switches and other IT infrastructure. Will have strong knowledge of broadcast audio and video systems and associated signal flows. Ability to troubleshoot advance Broadcast Audio and Video systems and provide rapid solutions . This person will be the leader of the team when on site. In this role, you will be involved in some of the biggest broadcasting/sporting events in the world.

    You must be able to work well with others, your team, and clients in fast-paced environments. Provide technical support and training to clients of software or broadcast hardware.

    Position requires a considerable amount of travel, including travel to other NEP facilities, customer, and vendor sites. 110 – 175 days of yearly travel time.

    Key Duties Include:

    • Work with Project Manager / Design Engineer / Customers / for completion of projects
    • Have the ability to read and understand Broadcast CAD drawings
    • Act as liaison between Design Engineer and Field Staff when on an integration project
    • Capture field mark-ups to generate as-built drawings and presents to Design Engineer to update drawings
    • Test and repair all types of copper cable along with fiber cable
    • Troubleshoot and repair existing installations

    Requirements
    • 5+ years in the Broadcast Integration / Live industry
    • Ability to work as Lead Broadcast Engineer remote, in the field and in studio integrations
    • Bachelors or formal Electronics training desired
    • Engineering experience a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience trouble shooting Audio and Video Broadcast equipment
