Clune Construction is seeking a Project Manager to support projects across Chicago, IL and Joliet, IL. The role centers on leading preconstruction and delivery activities from budgeting through turnover.

You will develop budgets, manage schedules, oversee procurement, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners, and monitor financial health of projects. The candidate should have 5+ years of PM experience, with 2-3 years in commercial construction, and a BS in Construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction PM experience, with 2-3 years in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts including budgets, value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop and implement the project execution plan with schedules, logistics, procurement and phasing.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, bid evaluation and contract administration.
• Liaise with owners, architects, engineers and trades; communicate project status and risks.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, billings, change orders and overall financial health.
• Control project documentation, RFIs, submittals and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate schedule, cost, procurement and contractual risks.
• Oversee project closeout, turnover and final documentation; mentor junior staff.
