Job Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager in the field of Electric Utilities to join our Project Management Team based in Eastern Pennsylvania. The role entails performing various project management processes/activities through all stages, from project inception through closeout, primarily for Electrical Distribution substation and line projects.

Intermittent travel will be required for on-site project meetings Monday through Friday, as dictated by project schedules. Work from home capability will depend on candidate experience and preference.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures at site and report safety incidents to supervision.
  • Drive project tasks to completion; learn and complete responsibilities in a timely manner.
  • Host and/or attend project meetings to maintain knowledge of project status.
  • Participate in on-site field walkdowns and contribute to project goals/objectives.
  • Provide input to improve processes/procedures to maximize efficiency.
  • Occasionally climb ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Plan daily tasks and prioritize among multiple projects.
  • Seek necessary training to execute tasks effectively.
  • Learn and use multiple software systems as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field
  • 8-10 Years Project Management Experience
  • Experience in Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Financial planning and forecasting capabilities
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Experience with scheduling software (P6)
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well in a group setting and manage simultaneous tasks
  • Willing to travel as needed; travel and lodging costs are reimbursable
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for site visits
  • Ability to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol test
