Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Southeast Michigan is seeking a Project Manager I to provide operational and project management support across the divisions of Primary Care, Behavioral Health, and Medical Specialty Service (Call) Centers.

You will partner with operational leaders to drive strategic initiatives, coordinate projects, analyze data, develop reports, and support process improvements that advance divisional goals and organizational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience providing high level administrative/executive support in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with project management applications and presenting complex analyses.
• Technical writing experience. Experience in a matrix-managed organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and project management support through report preparation, data analysis, meeting coordination, and support of division initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee projects from planning through implementation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met.
• Develop project implementation strategies and training plans to support successful rollouts.
• Research, gather, and compile information to support project planning, analysis, and decision-making.
• Track project progress, maintain project plans, and provide updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Analyze and present data, metrics, and graphical reports to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with the development, tracking, analysis, and reporting of financial, satisfaction, and operational metrics.
• Review business processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas and materials, document outcomes, and manage follow-up activities.
• Proactively identify risks, resolve project barriers, and recommend solutions to support successful outcomes

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field

General Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required, with a Master’s degree preferred

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Previous experience working to provide high level support in an administrative or executive level healthcare environment. Previous experience working with Project Management applications and presenting complex analyses. Technical writing experience required. Experience working in a matrix-managed organization. Experience leading clinical and clerical teams is preferred.
