Job summary

The Association is seeking a Project Manager to lead transformation projects end-to-end in a hybrid role based in Durham, NC. You will collaborate with partners and sponsors to define scope, budgets, and required resources, and ensure documentation and governance are maintained.

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager - Transformation, you will guide delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, facilitate meetings, and promote continuous improvement using Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience managing complex projects
• Project Management certification (e.g. PMP® or Prince 2)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with important company partners and project sponsor(s) to understand, define, and document scope of work, budget, and resources needed.
• Manage, distribute, and archive project scope documents, project plans, schedules, project scorecards, and other critical and essential project documentation.
• Guide delivery of projects by ensuring you meet deliverable due dates, and by navigating schedule changes, resource challenges, enforcing milestones/deadlines, tracking risks and escalating them.
• Convene, facilitate, and document project meetings, ensuring communication of critical information to project team, partners, and sponsor(s).
• Contribute to culture of operational improvement by conducting retrospectives or lessons-learned meetings.
• Promote continuous improvement by project management of multiple teams and other efforts. These efforts include those focused on effectiveness of business activities and processes. They use process optimization methodologies and concepts such as Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma.
• In collaboration with functional team, lead, coordinate and assign resources or third parties/vendors for projects.

Please note this is a hybrid role and needs to be in the office 2 days week at a minimum as such the successful candidate will have to be North Carolina based.

About the Role

You will project manage Association transformation projects from end-to-end. you will provide critical partner and project team management and communication to accomplish goals with efficiency and efficacy. You will report to the Senior Program Manager - Transformation as an individual contributor and use a hybrid work schedule.

You Will

You Have

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $73,000 - $94,500
