Project Manager – Design-Build

Brayman Construction Corporation, located in Saxonburg, PA, is actively seeking a full‑time Project Manager – Design‑Build with Alternative Delivery experience to interface with project stakeholders, track projects, and develop staff.

The position is a full‑time role, competitively compensated, with a varied schedule based on project demands. It will begin at the main office in Saxonburg, pending eventual travel or relocation to a project site.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff and assigns ownership of project‑specific tasks on assigned projects.
• Ensures the Safety Program is enforced and performs safety observations.
• Performs contract management, change orders, prepares subcontracts, schedules projects, and consults with superintendents.
• Ensures the quality of the assigned projects is being upheld.
• Reviews productivity of assigned projects with field supervision.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil or deep foundation construction.
• Desired alternative delivery experience: Design‑Build, Progressive Design‑Build, CMGC, or Integrated Design and Construction.
• Experience working with and/or managing designers and the design process is a plus.
• Bridge construction experience preferred.
• Experience with mass concrete, post‑tensioning, dams, drilling, soil nails, caissons, tie‑backs, shotcrete, slurry walls, or similar heavy civil work is preferred.

Safety

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Site hazards include working at heights, confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and changing circumstances. The role may involve night or weekend work as needed.

Certain positions will have access to confidential and proprietary information. Successful candidates will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
