Join a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as a Project Manager, responsible for providing project management services in the delivery of a new healthcare building focusing on cancer care services. The total value of this new 575,000 SF facility is $815 million with an anticipated opening in 2027.
Represents the Hospital Facilities Planning Design and Construction Department while providing Project Management services for the development, design, construction, completion, and activation of University of Chicago Medical Center projects. This role will support the delivery of numerous strategic and non-strategic capital healthcare projects as well as operations funded projects, both on Hyde Park campus and at other offsite locations.
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for projects including overall budget and schedule, project scope, management consultants, and contractors with oversight of all associated work efforts to manage projects with budgets ranging from $10,000 to $10 million. The Project Manager will coordinate the work of internal resources, as well as consultants and contractors to develop and meet schedule milestones, support the functions of the Facility Operations team, and will lead the efforts in informing and reporting out on schedule and budgetary milestones to UCM leadership. The Project Manager may work under or support the work of the Senior Project Manager and Project Director in larger & more complex projects.
Perform other duties departmental duties as identified and assigned by senior management.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
