Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead mission-critical data center projects from preconstruction through punch list. You will coordinate with owners, design teams, and leadership to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk, and manage GMP/lump-sum contracts, change orders, and cost forecasting.

In this role, you will drive cross-functional collaboration across structural, architectural, and MEP scopes with a sharp focus on critical path activities, uphold safety

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in data center construction or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration in mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of data center projects from preconstruction through punch list.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, and leadership to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
• Manage GMP/lump sum contracts, change management, and cost forecasting.
• Drive coordination across structural, architectural, MEP, and vendor scopes with focus on critical path.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Develop and oversee project financials.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to protect schedule and budget.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Serve as primary point of accountability for project outcomes.

A day in the life

• Lead the execution of large‑scale, mission‑critical data center projects from preconstruction through punch list
• Partner with owners, design teams, and internal leadership to align scope, budget, schedule, and risk
• Manage GMP/lump sum contracts, change management, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive coordination across structural, architectural, MEP, and vendor scopes with a strong focus on critical path activities
• Ensure project compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations
• Develop and oversee project financials
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans to protect schedule and budget
• Support commissioning and turnover activities to ensure successful delivery to the owner
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes

Necessary Qualifications

• Around 3‑8 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in data center construction or mission critical projects
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration in mission‑critical environments
• Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
