Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager to join our data center team across the United States. This remote-friendly role supports ongoing data center projects with strong collaboration and mentorship opportunities within a global group of professionals.

Responsibilities include developing proposals, managing budgets and schedules, and guiding project teams to meet client objectives. Eligible roles may be remote, but onsite attendance is expected for full-time salaried employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management or coordination experience supporting various disciplines and EPC activities.
• PMP certification and/or Master's degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver project proposals, scopes, budgets, reports, contracts and schedules.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet client objectives and ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide motivation and mentoring to project teams in a fast-paced environment.

This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. The selected candidate will support ongoing Data Center projects in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the \"best\" candidates.

We are currently searching for a Project Manager to join our data center team. Join our collaborative global group providing clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. The ideal candidate will be driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. This can be a remote position - all US-based locations will be considered.

By developing and delivering on project proposals, scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you'll help our teams achieve our client's objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. You'll provide motivation and support to project teams and will be surrounded by expert mentorship and mentoring opportunities to help you and your team thrive.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related discipline (Civil, Arch) or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of project management or coordination experience supporting various disciplines and EPC activities

Ideally, you'll also have

• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• Master's degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field

The base salary range for this position is $85,200.00 to $117,200.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
