Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), part of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Project Manager for Customer Programs in the United States. The role links Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to drive front-end projects from design to manufacturing, including NPI enablement and global transitions.

The ideal candidate has a relevant B.S. degree, strong PM skills, and experience in the connector industry, with excellent communication and coordination capabilities.

• BS degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in connector industry is preferred.
• Strong project management, organization and teamwork in a fast-moving environment.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Site Operations and other teams to ensure alignment across all phases of front-end customer projects.
• Support key customer initiatives in Datacom by managing timelines, deliverables, and communication flow.
• Coordinate prototype builds and documentation for NPI success and oversee tooling, test and ramp-up activities.
• Maintain project plans with milestones, risks and dependencies; track progress and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness and capacity planning; transfer processes to production near Asia/North America.
• Identify and mitigate risks early using structured tools and develop contingency plans.

We are currently seeking Project Manager Customer Programs to join our team located in the United States. This role will report directly to the Product MarketingManager in Power Solutions Business Unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Coordination & Cross-Functional Liaison
  • Act as the primary liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Site Operations, and other internal teams to ensure alignment across all phases of front-end customer projects.
  • Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to drive clarity on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Customer Program Support
  • Support key customer initiatives in the Datacom segment by managing timelines, deliverables, and communication flow.
  • Serve as a point of contact for updates and responses related to customer-facing programs and technical engagements.
• New Product Introduction (NPI) Enablement
  • Coordinate prototype builds and documentation required for NPI success.
  • Ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing, with clear oversight of tooling, test, and production ramp-up activities.
• Program Planning & Execution
  • Maintain project plans with defined milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Track progress against goals, identify bottlenecks, and proactively scale issues to maintain momentum.
• Operational Readiness
  • Ensure manufacturing and supply chain readiness by coordinating with site teams.
  • Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and launch coordination.
  • Coordinate and transfer/transition manufacturing processes to production factories in Asia/North America
• Risk Management
  • Identify and mitigate risks early using structured tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop contingency plans that keep programs on track.
• Communication & Reporting
  • Provide consistent and clear communication on program status, risks, and needs to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Drive regular updates and alignment meetings between teams to ensure visibility and accountability.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Fluent in English, bilingual candidates fluent in Mandarin a plus
• Experience in connector industry, some knowledge of server/storage/networking/data center rack level architecturespreferred.
• Career progression from new product design/development engineering into manufacturing and NPI management ispreferred.
• Exceptional organization, creativity, adaptability, and strong project management to in a rapidly changing, multitasking environment.
• Good communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, GANTT chartsetc.), the ability to integrate with cross functional teams globally and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to get thejob done
