Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, maintaining documentation, supporting continuous improvement, and preparing status updates for leadership.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, customer service, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Or any combination of education and experience providing equivalent background.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor customer orders from initiation through completion to ensure timely execution and delivery.
  • Track project schedules and coordinate with internal teams to ensure resources are aligned with production needs.
  • Identify potential risks such as delays or material shortages and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between internal departments and external representatives to ensure alignment on project status and expectations.
  • Prepare and distribute project status updates and reports to support visibility and decision-making.
  • Participate in project review meetings to gather updates and support issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by documenting lessons learned and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.

Job Description

The Project Manager – Customer Advocate supports the coordination and execution of customer orders to drive on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. This role contributes to departmental objectives by tracking project progress, maintaining clear communication across teams, and identifying potential risks. The Project Manager I works collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with customer expectations. This position also supports continuous improvement efforts by documenting outcomes and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

Primary Duties
  • Monitor customer orders from initiation through completion to ensure timely execution and delivery.
  • Track project schedules and coordinate with internal teams to ensure resources are aligned with production needs.
  • Identify potential risks such as delays or material shortages and escalates issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between internal departments and external representatives to ensure alignment on project status and expectations.
  • Prepare and distribute project status updates and reports to support visibility and decision-making.
  • Participate in project review meetings to gather updates and support issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline;
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, customer service, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment,

  • Ability to analyze information and make routine decisions.
Work Environment
  • Perform all tasks on-site in both office and manufacturing settings.
  • Regular interaction with engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels during production floor visits.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts when in manufacturing areas.
  • Compliance with all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in production areas.
