Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Project Manager Construction to lead and coordinate pharmaceutical facility projects in Manatí, Puerto Rico. You will oversee planning, execution, and closeout of construction, utilities, and site improvements, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external contractors, managing budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and ensuring GMP and site requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
• More than 4 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar project management role.
• Demonstrated experience managing construction, facilities, utilities, infrastructure, or related capital projects.
• Experience working with contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Pharmaceutical or other FDA-regulated industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with clinical facilities, hospitals, healthcare facilities, or medical environments is a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and facility projects from planning through execution and closeout.
• Coordinate project activities involving facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and construction.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, vendors, engineering groups, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review project documentation, drawings, scopes of work, and contractor deliverables.
• Support project meetings, status reporting, action tracking, and issue resolution.
• Identify project risks, schedule impacts, scope changes, and potential cost issues.
• Coordinate construction activities with site operations, facilities, engineering, maintenance, quality, and other functional groups.
• Support project turnover, commissioning, startup, and closeout activities as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with applicable GMP, safety, quality, and pharmaceutical site requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.

Position Summary

• Experience in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, clinical, or hospital environmentis preferred.
