Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Project Manager experienced with commercial electrical work for a Milford, CT contractor. You will lead day-to-day project management for jobs from $300K to $4M and assist in estimating for smaller projects and change orders.

The role requires a strong field background, 4+ years in commercial electrical PM, and OSHA 30. Knowledge of McCormick estimating software is a plus; E-2 electrical license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial electrical
• E-2 electrical license in CT preferred
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Estimating experience with change orders preferred
• Strong coordination, scheduling, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with McCormick estimating software a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial/industrial electrical projects across CT
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure timely delivery
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly (company vehicle provided)
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs, and change requests
• Maintain clear updates with Head of Construction
• Uphold OSHA safety standards and ensure compliance
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, with minimal errors

Job description

Our client is a well-established mid-sized commercial electrical contractor based in Milford, CT, with over 20 years of experience serving commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. Their work spans multi-residential housing, commercial and industrial facilities, healthcare, educational facilities, retail, and more.

We are seeking a Project Manager experienced with Commercial Electrical jobs. This individual will lead day-to-day project management for jobs ranging from $300K to $4M and assist in estimating for smaller projects and change orders. We are hiring immediately and looking for someone who is hands‑on, field‑savvy, and ready to hit the ground running.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday through Friday
• 60% office-based, 40% on job sites across CT
• Reports to the Head of Construction
• Must be comfortable managing multiple active jobs

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects across the state of Connecticut
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
• Attend weekly job meetings and visit job sites regularly (company vehicle provided)
• Handle small project and change order estimating using McCormick software
• Review scope, schedule, materials, labor needs, and change requests
• Maintain constant communication with the Head of Construction and ensure updates are tracked and communicated clearly
• Uphold safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance on job sites
• Deliver jobs on time, within budget, and with minimal errors

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in project management within the commercial electrical industry
• E-2 electrical license in Connecticut is preferred
• Must have or be willing to obtain OSHA 30 certification
• Strong field background
• Estimating experience preferred (especially change order estimates)
• Proficient with project coordination and scheduling
• Familiarity with McCormick estimating software is a plus
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
