Job summary

ElitAire in Columbus, OH is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead HVAC projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive on-time delivery with a focus on efficiency.

You will manage day-to-day activities for executed orders, provide technical support, develop scopes and itemized costs, perform site visits (10–25% travel), and use CAD tools as needed; candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in project management, construction management or Industrial; equivalent years of experience considered.
• Site visits required; travel estimated 10–25%.
• HVAC Project Management preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with CAD tools AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make independent decisions.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of responding effectively to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Document selection criteria and maintain project files.
• Assist Account Managers with customer-specific marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Provide project updates and clear communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits as needed; travel estimated 10%–25%.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to problem solve and make decisions without close supervision. They must be self-motivated, accurate, efficient, and capable of responding to customer needs. Additionally, this candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in project management, construction management or Industrial; preferred. Equivalent years of experience will also be considered.
• Site visits; required (travel is estimated to be between 10%-25%)
• HVAC Project Management; preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications and operating systems including Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Computer Aided Drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make independent decisions.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of responding effectively to customer needs.
