Responsibilities

• Estimating: describe project proposals and assign dollar values.
• Scheduling: create a working timeline for subcontractors/trades to complete the project on time.
• Design meetings: attend design meetings with owner and team to understand design proposals from structural engineers and architects.
• Buyout: send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors. Receive and evaluate proposals, then award the subcontracts.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

A Co-Op is an amazing experience where the student works at ARCO for 6-8 months full-time. The student will need to take the semester off from school or reach out to their career services about their Co-op requirements. At ARCO, a Co-op has the opportunity to assist Project Managers with the following:
