Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks an on-site Project Manager for the Southwest portfolio to lead utility-scale solar PV, battery storage, and repowering projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout. The role requires coordinating teams, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and delivering safe, reliable, and profitable outcomes.

The candidate will develop plans, manage risks, and make value-based decisions while fostering strong customer relationships

Qualifications

• Experience managing EPC, industrial, infrastructure, utility scale renewable energy projects valued in hundreds of millions.
• Experience leading project teams, managing scope, schedule, cost, forecasting, contracts, or customer commitments.
• Valid US driver's license and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans, forecasts, risk mitigation strategies, and phase-gate deliverables from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.

• Build and develop high-performing teams by setting clear expectations, coaching for contribution, and aligning strengths to project and business needs.
• Coordinate customers, subcontractors, vendors, utilities, consultants, and internal partners to support transparent communication and disciplined execution.

DEPCOM Power, a leading renewable energy EPC firm, is seeking an on-site Project Manager for the Southwest portfolio to lead the execution of utility-scale Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage, and Repowering projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.

As a Project Manager, you will create long-term value by leading project teams that deliver safe, reliable, and profitable results. You will apply Principle Based Management to strengthen ownership, improve execution discipline, make sound economic decisions, and build trusted customer and stakeholder relationships from pre-construction through closeout.

Initial Project Location: Holtville, CA
*Future locations subject to change within the Southwest portfolio based on business need

Travel: Site based role with home trip rotations (typically every 3-4 weeks)

*Based on business need, future projects may include remote with 50% travel requirements.

Compensation: $160k - $225k (flexible based on experience)

Our Team

DEPCOM's Project Delivery Organization executes turnkey PV, Battery Energy Storage, and Repower projects, including collection substations and generation transmission lines. The team partners with vendors, subcontractors, utilities, and internal capabilities to deliver disciplined project execution and strong customer outcomes nationwide.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience managing EPC, industrial, infrastructure, utility scale renewable energy, or large capital projects valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, cost, forecasting, risk mitigation, contracts, or customer commitments.
• Experience leading project teams, subcontractors, vendors, or cross-functional stakeholders.
• Valid US driver's license.

Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

What Will Put You Ahead

• EPC experience in Utility Solar, Wind, BESS, conventional power or industrial projects.
• Experience leading self-perform construction execution on large or complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP, CCM, PE, or other relevant project management or construction industry certifications.
• Experience partnering with Business Development, Estimating, Operations, or customers to support project pursuits, repeat business, and executable project solutions.

For this role, we anticipate paying $160K - $225K per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
