Baylor Genetics in Houston, TX seeks a Project Manager to help transition the company from a genetics-focused business to a technology-driven organization. You will own and lead multiple internal and cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with business goals.

Key duties include Smartsheet ownership and project tracking, setting up plans and timelines, reporting progress, risks, and issues, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Preferred: PMP certification or similar project management certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare, biotechnology, or genetics industry.
  • Preferred: Experience with cross-functional project management and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple internal and cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Own and maintain Smartsheet for project tracking, including setting up project plans, timelines, and task assignments. Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in Smartsheet.
  • Execute team operating mechanisms, highlighting progress, risks, and issues. Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Collaborate with teams to streamline workflows and optimize resource utilization.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project priorities. Maintain strong relationships and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics' Compliance Program.
