STV, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) to join our national aviation team. The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing BHS projects, with regular updates to stakeholders and weekly travel to major airline hubs as needed.

A full-time on-site presence is required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aviation baggage handling project management, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong presentation and interpersonal

Overview

STV is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) to join our national aviation team. These positions may assist aviation clients throughout the country who are in need of our assistance with aviation projects. The roles involve managing the planning, coordination, and implementation of BHS projects while keeping stakeholders informed with regular updates. This role requires a reasonable commute or willingness to travel weekly to major airline hubs as project needs may require (e.g., DFW, IAH, ATL, EWR, ORD, LGA, SAT, PHX, LAX, IAD).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for airport leadership
• Collaborate with TSA Regional Deployment Coordinators and associated contract personnel
• Lead and manage construction and implementation teams
• Resolve issues between the design team and construction/implementation teams
• Organize and document project meetings
• Lead stakeholder and operational engagement; coordinate, proactively communicate, resolve conflicts, and report
• Review design team responses to RFIs and submittals for compliance with contract documents
• Attend commissioning and testing of BHS systems to ensure adherence to contract requirements, TSA standards, and other guidelines
• Develop and monitor project schedules and deliverables
• Review and process changes through the Change Management process
• Coordinate all BHS elements with other program elements including design, schedule, cost, procurement, changes, reporting, installation, ORAT, commissioning, and close-out

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with aviation baggage handling system project management/implementation
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, including proficiency in creating client presentations
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of TSA's Planning Guidelines and Design Standards

The ideal candidate will take full ownership of assigned projects and work with minimal supervision. While some remote work may be permitted, this role requires a full-time on-site presence. STV fosters a supportive work environment and values a collaborative approach to project success.

Compensation Range:

$164,279.49 - $187,747.98
