Accurate Tooling Solutions is seeking an experienced Aerospace Project Manager to lead complex aerospace manufacturing and tooling projects from contract award through final delivery. This position requires a strong background in the aerospace industry and the ability to successfully manage customer expectations, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced working within AS9100 environments while managing projects with demanding quality and delivery requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage aerospace tooling and manufacturing projects from kickoff through completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for aerospace customers
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate activities between engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and production teams
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful execution
- Lead customer meetings and provide regular project status updates
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize impact
- Review engineering changes and assess schedule, cost, and resource impacts
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and aerospace quality standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, tooling, fabrication, machining, and assembly operations
- Experience working within AS9100 quality systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Experience with ERP systems and project management software preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
