Navarro Research and Engineering in West Mifflin, PA, is seeking a Project Manager with an active DOE L clearance (or DOD equivalent) to join the Nuclear/Environmental program. The PM will support the Shipping Container team, assist subdivision managers and engineers, and manage schedules, resources, and cost performance.

Citizenship is required for government work, with opportunities across the DOE/DoD portfolio.

Formación

• Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 experience.
• Experience managing engineering projects and developing schedules.
• Database development and management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and resource estimates.
• Prepare reports and status updates on schedule and cost performance.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory develops advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology for the safety and reliability of our Navy's submarine and aircraft fleet. Our company is looking for a Project Manager member to join our Shipping Container (SC) team. The Project Manager member will assist the SC Subdivision managers and engineers in project management and business support activities. Responsibilities will also include developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules and resource estimates, as well as reports, statusing and reporting schedule and cost performance. Additionally, the Project Manager may support project management and business activities of the greater Reactor Servicing organization.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 or similar project management software Experience managing engineering projects and developing schedules Database development and management Strong written and verbal communication skills

Minimum four year degree in engineering/science, business, or project management, or another project related or technical field Microsoft Office Project planning and estimating Technical writing and reports

An active DOE L Clearance (or DOD equavilent)
