Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in Duluth, GA is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead medium-scale security and life-safety projects on-site. You will manage scope, schedule and budget, coordinate procurement, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management experience in technical environments and PMI certifications are preferred.

• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate multiple aspects for small to medium projects of moderate complexity from award through completion.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Effectively communicate requirements to project team and maintain accurate records.
• Act as the customer’s best service provider and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, services, and controls for timely, cost-effective completion.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• May perform limited managerial duties and oversee subcontractor selection.

In this role, you will ensure that projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules while ensuring positive cash flow. This is a customer-facing role, and is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.As a Project Manager, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

This is for someone experiences with Fire Alarm Systems, DAS Systems, Sound Masking & Intercom. Edwards (EST) Product knowledge and a PMP certification are desired.

What You’ll Need

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).

• Experience managing client relationships / communications.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 5-7 years project management

Preferred Experience (but not required):

• 5 years relevant engineering, field service or project management
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
• Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI); industry-specific certifications and/or licenses
